I am organizing a Summer Olympics party for my family over the 4th of July weekend which I am quite excited about. I have always wanted to host this type of event ever since hearing my Mom talk about the fun backyard Olympics they used to participate in with friends in their years before children.
We are planning on dividing up into two teams and competing at different games such as wheel barrel races, slosh ball, and various types of Minute to Win It games. I am hoping it will be lots of fun. Does your family do anything fun for the 4th of July?
Crock Pot Dip Recipe
I will definitely be serving this dip! Instead of baking it for 45 minutes, I will just be tossing it in a quart Crock Pot for 1.5 to 2 hours on high to heat it through and then serve on the warming setting. This method takes longer, but it is much easier in the end because you can set it and forget it. Whenever your guests are ready to dig into appetizers, you can bring out your Little Dipper Crockpot.

Looks so delicious. My only beef is that as a proud New Mexican seeing green chile spelled like what is used for Frito pie (chili) is like nails on a chalkboard. #themoreyouknow
